IMPROVED TRANSPORTATION OPTION TO THE LODGE FOR 2018!!
One of the things we are most proud of at Walters Cove is that we listen to our customers and try our best to provide them with the services they want!
We are excited to announce that we have formed a partnership with Seair Seaplanes www.seairseaplanes.com and will now be including flights to and from the lodge for a very reasonable cost in our 2018 packages for most of the season! We will be flying our guests every Wednesday and Sunday beginning in early July to the end of August. It's never been easier to get to Walters Cove! The flights will take you from Seair's base near the South Terminal of Vancouver's Airport located in Richmond, BC directly to our dock! The scenic, one hour and ten minute flights are aboard the luxurious fleet of Cessna Caravans operated by Seair. For those driving to Vancouver, there is the added bonus of free parking at Seair's offices!

WHAT ELSE IS NEW FOR 2018?
1. We are extremely thankful and grateful for the amazing gift of a new boat coming our way donated by long time customer, Ron Wells. Ron generously has rehomed his 30' Osprey to a place where it will be used in the way his heart wants it! "I love this place and I want the Nation and the lodge to succeed so if you come and get it, it's yours," said Ron. What can we say...we are speechless!
2. To meet further demand, we are proud to let you know we are having 2 new Grady's built again by Brant Marine of Ladner, BC. In addition to Ron's generous gift, this will bring our fleet up to 7 luxury boats! Awesome! A quick note to our returning customers, we are also improving the seating on the fishing decks of our current fleet!
3. Preparing a First Nations traditionally cooked salmon over an open fire, accompanied by cultural songs and stories, has been something that has only been experienced by the guests on our 5 day trips up till now. We are happy to announce that we will be providing this tasty and fulfilling experience for the guests on our 4 day trips! A short 3 minute walk to the "outside beach" from the lodge and memories will be made!
4. We are excited to announce that we will be launching a new, updated website early in 2018. Along with our sister companies, Fair Harbour Marina and Campground and the Purple Palace, we will have 2 brand new websites to bring you more information that's easier to navigate and is keeping up with the ever changing needs of the Information Age!

PHOTO CONTEST DRAW WINNER
Congratulations to Robin Okubo who was the lucky winner of a beautiful St. Jeans guest basket from the draw that took place on Nov 3 . Each photo submitted was entered into the draw and Robin got just as lucky as he was when he was fishing with us this past year! Thanks to all that entered a photo! Maybe next year it will be your turn!
