We provide you with everything you need to catch fish, including top-of-the-line waterproof rain gear and rubber boots.

So, unless you have a “lucky lure”, no need to bring any fishing gear. However, you do need to bring a fishing license (see Limits & Licenses) and clothing that will prepare you for weather that can often be unpredictable. In the summer months, it can be warm and sunny for long stretches, but it’s always best to be prepared.

Here’s what you should consider when packing

Passport (when coming from outside Canada)
Warm gloves
Wool or fleece sweater
Wool or fleece socks
Comfortable shoes
Fishing License
Your lucky fishing hat
Swimsuit for the hot tub
Sunscreen and sunglasses
Seasickness remedies
Prescription medicines
Smartphone with a camera plus a charger
