The last few weeks have provided our guests with some stellar fishing and great weather for the most part. Kyuquot has certainly lived up to its expectations with limits of salmon for everyone…..
We are now almost halfway through our season and the fishing is the usual consistent report we see come out of Kyuquot time and time again……
The 2018 season is well under way now and we are happy to report that we have had very happy guests and limits of chinooks are the norm!
Well, the 2017 season has come to an end and a great season it was! Happy guests, best weather I’ve seen on the coast overall for a whole summer and, of course, great fishing!!!
The fishing season got underway in early July and didn’t disappoint.
The season continues along here at Walters Cove with the same message……..great fishing and nice weather! I struggle to make each fishing report sound different because, well, they aren’t! I am still astounded by the consistency of the fishing grounds here in Kyuquot!
Fishing the last week has been hot and cold (but mostly hot). One day of “off” fishing will be followed by a couple of hot fishing!

2023 Fishing Season BC Canada overview: The upcoming season is almost upon us in Kyuquot.
We took a little longer than usual to start booking for 2023 but we are excited to announce our trip schedules and pricing and will be starting to contact everyone and sending invoices beginning next Wednesday, Oct 19. Normally by this time we would be about 80% full however this year there were some very important details to iron out before we started confirming dates.
The outlook for salmon fishing in Kyuquot this year looks quite promising and is one of the bright spots along the coast of BC (no surprise there). Local wild stocks have been trending upwards for the whole of the North West Vancouver Island.
